The Negros Oriental State University (NORSU) main campus has shut down its Main Campus 1 in this capital city from Nov. 23-27 for massive disinfection amid the continued rise of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in the province.
In a memorandum issued by NORSU president Dr. Joel P. Limson, a copy of which was obtained by the Philippine News Agency, employees of NORSU Main Campus I were advised to work from home on these dates while thorough disinfection is done in all of its buildings and facilities “in response to the growing concerns over Covid-19 and the high risk of exposure” in the workplace.
“This is one of the measures that will help in the prevention and spread of the Covid-19 in the workplace,” Limson said in his memorandum.
He reminded employees to strictly observe health protocols and observe health and safety standards. (PNA)
